Physics H7A
Math 53
Russian Literature R5B
Environmental Science & Policy (AC)
BioE 24

17 Units

i know BioE 24 is easy and interesting, but anyone know about Enironmental Science? is it a doable course along with the other 2 hard ones?

If you are a freshmen, it seems like a lot. Try taking 13 units your first semester just to get your feet wet and then up it to 17 second semester. Or if you think you can handle 17 units in your first semester, try it out and if it is too much, drop one class. Good luck! :)

It really shouldn't be that bad. Needless to say, keep up on the hw. The whole "take 13 units your first semester" is a complete myth. I survived fine with 19 units in my first semester, and I've never taken below 16. Russian Lit is hard (so I've heard). Math is not that difficult either (I know for a fact, I took that class too). As for the rest... Physics won't be too bad if you're science-oriented. Overall, I say, go for it.

And to all you nay-sayers, Stop pressuring the new students. As much as you'd like to think, intro classes (save pre-med) are not too difficult.

so pre-med classes are exceptionally hard? Damn I got a lot of hard work come this fall and beyond.
