Can anyone give me a list of top college towns?

Unlike Boston, L.A, NYC or Chicago, where there are so many universities/colleges in one city, America have some pretty special college towns. Namely......

Can anyone give me a list of your top college towns in America??

Athens Ga
Chapel Hill NC
Ann Arbor Mi
Madison Wi
Austin Tx
Eugene Or
Boulder Co
Gainsville Fl

That’s all I have for now, but those are all great experiences to be had!

Ithaca NY
Evanston IL

dont forget State College, PA. awesome place…awesome school.

i would also agree on Ann Arbor, MI

For sure Boulder, CO. Thats where I’m at now, real chill place

A vote for Ann Arbor. :)

Ann Arbor and East Lansing, MI are pretty good

Ann Arbor ftw

I love it here in Ithaca. But thats just me + it hasn’t gotten cold yet. ;)

the professor and the student next to me in class were talking about how great ann arbor is because you can walk from class to mcdonalds? or something like that, basically the college is integrated into the town

Chapel Hill
Ann Arbor
Athens, GA

I have actually been in Ann Arbor for three weeks now and haven’t come across a McDonalds yet, which is bizarre.

Blacksburg, VA. We get made fun of a little bit since yes, there are cow fields on one side of campus. The other side juts right into downtown, though, where there’s plenty to do if you’re college aged.

Athens, OH
Manhattan, KS
Lawrence, KS
Charlottesville, VA
Champaign, IL
Corvallis, OR
College Station, TX
Bloomington, IN
Burlington, VT
Durham, NH
Tallahassee, FL
Norman, OK
Stillwater, OK

LOL college station.

Yeah, yeah, I know you guys love to fight about that. They then comeback with the fact that ATX has the most proportion of gays in any city in the U.S.

Uptown Minneapolis and Dinkytown, MN.

Chapel Hill :p

I vote Ithaca

Ithaca is gorges.
