Austin, Texas has gotta be up on the top 5 atleast.

Grace how can you say williamsburg is a good college town??

Austin, TX is the best

Amherst, Northampton, Gainesville

OUCH AMHERST??.. Its a SMALLLLLL MINIATURE TOOOWN. it has various schools there but from what I have heard, not much to do.

No, I think Amherst is a pretty good college town. There are, afterall, about 5+ colleges in the area, including UMASS, which brings in a zoo of students. UMASS alone brings about 15,000 students to the area, which inevitably brings fun with it.

Amherst has great restaurants - fantastic Mexican, Chinese, Indian, Italian, a tapas place, amazing pizza, incredible bakeries, cafes, delis, coffeeshops with live jazz, great bookstores, an independent cinema, all the cultural resources of the nearby colleges, cute little boutiques, a great ice cream parlor (plus a Ben and Jerry's, too)...it's the quintessential college town.
