Can anyone in any bs/md progs chance me (out of state California)

<p>Hi everyone! I would appreciate it if anyone could chance me on some bs/md programs as a California out of stater. I heard most programs prefer in state students... that kind of let me down a lot. So any input is appreciated!</p>

<p>I'm guessing my academics is qualified, or in range i guess as I have read in these forums. My question is: will my EC be enough to land me an interview at least? I can probably pull at least another 60 hrs in the hospital if that can make a difference. </p>

<p>If anyone knows of any statistics regarding out of state acceptances, please share them!!!</p>

<p>I am a current student at VCU’s GMED program (a Freshman!), and I am from California as well! I think you have a good shot at VCU; they seem to like Cali students, we have a few from Cali this year.</p>

Welcome back to CC. I recall that your posts had helped my DS tremendously. He got into TCNJ/NJMS and is right now an MS2. How have you been doing? I recall that you were a few years ahead of my DS. Are you in residency or in 4th year applying to residencies at this time? Good to hear from you after a long time. I hope we continue to get valuable posts from you, now also wrt residency applications.</p>
