I am taking 6 AP courses during my senior year.
AP English Lit
AP Physics 1
AP Calc BC
AP French
AP Economics (Macro first semester, Micro second)
AP Psychology
Can anyone tell me which of these are hard/which are easy? I know every school is different, but just based on your own experience?
Top 4 are relatively hard. Econ and Psych are not, in comparison.
Depends on the person as well. English classes were always easy A’s for me, but you might prefer science, or history, or math…
I’ve only taken Physics and Econ.
Physics is hard as hell; but if you keep up with the work and concepts, you should be fine.
Econ is easy, wouldn’t worry about it.
Personal experience
Ap lit: a lot of work. Sucks if you hate literature
AP physics 1: my school makes you take 1&2 in the same year, but it counts as 2 classes. It’s set up kinda like physics c. There’s so much material in this class, so we didn’t finish physics 2 in time for the exam. Physics 1 is mainly mechanics and it introduces you to electricity and magnetism, mainly circuit analysis. Is it hard? For some people it is, others not so much.
AP Calc BC: definitely hard. The exam isn’t so bad though. It’s honestly the same test every year, but with different numbers. You know exactly what to expect, but they do throw in atleast 1 curve ball (but for 2017 it was a potato, lol) at you.
Never taken an Ap foreign language
Ap Econ was hard for me because I hated the class. I wasn’t really interested in it so I BARELY made it out alive with a 89.51 rounded up to an A. I thought the exam was easy, but I don’t have the results yet
Ap psych: generally an easy course. A lot of memorozation though, but the exam was easy. Tip: flash cards and flash cards and flash cards!!!
