Can ANYONE tell me if this major is acceptable for physical therapy?

It doesn’t matter what you major in as long as you take the required classes. The PT I know majored in Spanish.

I honestly don’t know… Sorry, if this doesn’t help…

I want to be physical therapist and i am going to major in biology so i think life scinces would be fine as well.

I’m trying to figure out how to major in something un-science related, and still get your pre-reqs. Like sociology for example: some prereqs are criminology, psychology, etc. But none have biology, Chem, calc, and the other prereqs you need to become a PT?

nina1228 already answered your question; you can major in anything as long as you take all prerequisites for physical therapy school. If you go to a school which makes this difficult to do with a nonscience major, you may have to go longer, or take classes over the summer. This is why many students who are interested in this profession will major in science or kinesiology. You should also decide which PT schools you want to apply to by your sophomore year, because every PT school may be slightly different in the prerequisite classes they require.
