<p>Not likely, but they may simply turn down your request. There is, however, at least one school that will add FA after acceptance even though you didn’t ask for it originally.</p>

<p>Do you mean an appeal of an award that is not enough to support attendance? I still think revocation is not likely.</p>
<p>You shouldn’t be revoked but you may not get an adjustment to your FA.</p>
<p>I can’t imagine any college would take back an admittance unless there is a huge drop in grades, an arrest or a major behavior problem. </p>
<p>However, there are plenty of colleges that accept students who they know will not attend because it is not affordable. Many colleges do not meet full financial need, particularly for students who are not at the top of their applicant pool.</p>

<p>Indeed, but to clarify, not individual students, rather as a group. E.g., NYU is need-blind without meeting full need of most FA applicants, and expects a large percentage of those admitted not to attend.</p>
