Can community college classes taken in HS transfer over for UC credit?

I've only taken Intro to Business 101 and Business 110 (Human relations in business) but I'm currently enrolled in English 101 (also registered at my CC as a HS student). I've heard conflicting stories - ill these courses transfer over hen I go to a UC? I'm doing the community college transfer thing later this year - will I have to take these courses over again (they're pre reqs for Haas).

no, I took classes when I was in HS, and I am going to CC now.
My transcript didn't say I took the classess when I was in HS, so I guess, it doesn't matter.

In general, they'll transfer over as long as it shows up on the CCC transcript and it's UC transferable. It doesn't matter if you took them during high school.

for sure, as long as it shows up on your CC xcript, you're chill

Yes, dont get fooled, any class you have previously taken will count, I attended OCC in orange county with a bunch of CC classes during high school.
I was required to report them on my UC app, now every counselor and blah blah person out there will tell you that if you dont tell them about the HS com. coll. classes, they might bring a dishonest application thing against you. I have heard otherwise from some but def. dont keep them secret b.c they could say that.

I am currently attending a Uc, and I got into UCLA< UCSD < UCI.
they do count, the question is why you wouldn't want them to?

if you have any Qs email my user name, I might be able to help you out since being in that situation made me learn a bunch of facts.

generally you dont have to take the classes over again but totally depends on the class and the school
