So I've been getting emails saying that I "requested" to be switched from a Double to a Triple in Foothill, which is NOT true. My friend got the same email. I signed the contract for the Double and that's just what I want. I've been assertive in telling them that I don't want to change room types, but I've yet to get an apology or clarification - just "Wait and we'll get back to you" messages. Do they have any grounds to alter the contract? It seems completely unfair. I need to know what to do because I would not be happy with a Triple and would consider canceling the contract and pursuing a Co-Op or alternative housing. Anyone else have a similar experience or advice?

To be honest, berkeley has LOTS AND LOTS OF MISTAKES IN THEIR SYSTEM, you really have to be patient with the system and just let it sort itself out. The only possibility I can think of is that there were lots of requests for doubles and the processing just went completely packed. But if you want to be pesistent, just keep calling til you get an answer.

honestly, berkeley is not very efficient in administrative stuff....they can take ages! sigh

lol welcome to berkeley!
