So I wanted to go to film school, but I’m unsure if they wanted live action films. I’m only experienced into animation, but I wanted to do live action as well.
I would yes. In many schools, animation is part of a film making degree. So if that is what you have and you are proud of it, then put it in. They are looking to see your creativity and how you express that. Best of luck!
Like if I apply let’s say a Ivy League for example, they would allow animation to be in my portfolio?
I would think that they would like to see any creative work you’ve done as part of what your major would be. So I’m sure including some animation is fine. My son included some in his portfolio to Stanford.
