<p>I want to apply to UCLA as a Sociology major, due to the better chance of being accepted, however, I want to apply to Loyola Marymount as a Communications major. My community college (Santa Monica College) has me down as a Comm major, will UCLA not let me apply as a Sociology major then? As far as I know I have pre-reqs done for both.</p>

SMC putting you down as a comm major is only for their own reference.
