Can I apply for spring admission and fall admission at the same time?

My question is a little complicated.
I'm planning to apply for 2015 spring admission(colleges that are easier to get in), and attend at least 1 semester.
I also want to apply to better colleges for 2015 fall admissions, if I get in, I'll leave the college that I was in, and attend the new college in fall.
Can I apply for spring admission and fall admission at the same time? (as a freshman, not transfer)
Thanks!

That is a new question I have not seen before. Normally, if you attend one university you will be a transfer to the next one. I think you would be breaking rules to accept two freshman admissions offers, go to one first, then go to another after taking classes when you won’t really be a freshman any longer for Fall. You are going to have to find out the policies on this for your target colleges for Fall. But I just cannot see how you would be allowed to accept a freshman offer when you have already made a decision. No way. By accepting the first offer it is done, imo. After that you have to put a transfer application in. I’ll be interested if anyone sees it a different way.
