Can I be a freshman?

I will have completed 2 years of college in my native country, when I am supposed to matriculate in Harvard. If so, can I apply as a freshman.

Plz, don't say "no" :) I'll be only 18 years old, just like any American upon graduating from high school.

Check the Harvard website, but I would guess no. Education is not determined by age but by previous education received.

I haven't found anything about this on harvard website. I think "yes"!

No. If you have already enrolled in another college you must apply as a transfer, not as a freshman. Age doesn't matter.

Yeah. In England I know age matters in many places but not here in the good ol' U.S. of A.! :D

Hm that's kinda silly if the college has only taught what's available to US seniors or whatever, but oh well.

Agreed, their education suffers from it. If I want to switch from my 3rd year to 1st year, it's my problem and I am ready to explain the reasons. Why not?
