I am very interested in Cornell and its AEM program, however I would love to be in CAS as opposed to CALS. Would it be possible to be an AEM major in CAS, or would I have to be in CALS?

You could take AEM classes from within A&S but in order to be an AEM major you would need to be in CALS.
Why would you prefer A&S over CALS?

You’ll need to give your interests for me to help you further.

If you like the traditional liberal arts curriculum of CAS, then major in Economics and take AEM classes. The Econ major only has 8-10 classes (depending on AP), so taking AEM classes to supplement that isn’t an issue.
