Hey,I just got accepted to college - I am an international student... and I wondered if I could possible bring my cute dog to college? Are there any special facilities? And above all, is it alloweded to?
Thanks

It depends on your university, but most places will not allow you to have a dog. They can cause damage to the dorms and may pose problems with roommates (some of who may be allergic).

Leave the dog at home.

Oh I see… Thats sad…
Do you know specifically about Midd College?

I have a dog (two actually), and I’ll be taking them with me when I transfer too. But I live off campus and will be doing the same after transfer. I was able to find a decent priced townhouse a block from the University that has a pet friendly policy. From what I understand though, dorms aren’t pet friendly. I wouldn’t dream of keeping my dogs in a dorm anyway… Not enough space and one of mine is a rottweiler and they both need a backyard to play in. I would strongly suggest against dogs living in dorms, but if you want to take him/her, look into nearby off campus housing.

I would love if my roommate had a dog. All the fun of one but no clean up

You wont be able to get that dog through airports without getting arrested or being made to take 999 vaccinations. And you really dont need the additional stress of a needy animal that wont stop getting in the way when youre trying to acclimatize to a new country. So,yeah,Buster must stay home.

Yeah I’m going to assume you’re from Greece, which I’m sure has different laws regarding pets and vaccinations and the like.
