<p>On the Common App, can I change my "Future Plans" from school to school? On some applications I didn't have enough room to indicate my career goal of becoming a technology entrepreneur, and I don't want schools where I only mention engineering to suddenly be like "wow, where did this come from?"</p>

<p>yes. it also works if you want to test out things like saying no to financial aid at some schools and yes for others to see if the admission outcomes can be different based on that.</p>
