I was accepted to BU and applied with aerospace engineering as my intended major, but I’ve decided that I want to do biomedical engineering. Is it possible for my to change my major and if so, how easy/difficult will it be to do so?

To biomedical engineering? I think that’ll be pretty hard to do. Have you tried contacting admissions?

Admissions has not mailed me my acceptance envelope yet, and the decision letter only says that I’ve been accepted to the college of engineering. Aerospace is only offered at BU as a concentration; there is no other degree program offered for it. It seems like I’m not bound to any specific engineering program yet.

I guess. You have to realize however that biomedical engineering is a really competitive major to get into so I’m not too sure you can do much.

I have the same question, as I may want to change my Film/TV major to political science…or apply for a double major. Preferably the latter.
