Can I change Schools or am I screwed?

I was recently accepted into the College of Business Administration at Rose Hill. This is mainly due to the fact that that is what I applied for. Mistake on my part. I've had a serious change of heart since then and know that I am more interested in something along the lines of an English major, Poli Sci, or Economics. Something in the liberal studies at least because I do wish to participate in the 3-3 program with the School of Law. I did not think this would be an issue until College of Business Administration was tagged all over my acceptance letter and inside that little folder that we got. If I go to Fordham next year, being accepted into the College of Business Administration is it going to be hard for me to switch over into an accelerated program like the 3-3 pre-law program? Or will there be time to rearrange this by next fall?

hmm i have the same situation. I dunno if i want to do business anymore :[

Changing majors is not a problem. Changing schools is more problematic. Call Admissions and see what they say....and figure it out before you notify them of your final decision to attend on May 1.

CBA by the way is a great school and they take a lot of the same core classes as the liberal arts students and live with them.

My impression is the same as seafoodlovers answer. It will not be a problem, but should be taken care of sooner rather than later. When we went for an accepted students event the CBA students were separated out and held a different orientation etc. You will want to take care of it before you come to your orientation program.

It's definitely not a problem to change majors at school, the day you step in the your counselor's door, just let them know that you have realize that you want a new major, trust me, they won't turn you down, they care about the students....and also want your money! My sister changed her major about 7 times!

I have a bunch of friends who have changed back and forth between CBA and Fordham College after their freshman year. The liberal arts core are very similar and therefore transferring between schools is easy.

It's not hard at all. Just go to your advisor and let them know you would like to change your major. Very easy.
