What do I do?

Hi, I was accepted into Fordham University Lincoln Center campus but I decided to change my mind in what I want to study. Is there anyway I could change to the RoseHill Campus before the Fall starts? I plan to study business, I was going to do pre-med, but I changed my mind. Does anybody know how to do the transition? Has anyone done it?

well, it'll be a bit tough, you see, the college of business, CBA, has its own requirements for admission. While you may have qualified for the pre-med program, you may not for the CBA one. My suggestion is you have a long and serious talk with your future dean, otherwise you may find yourself very discontent at Fordham.

To be honest with you, I think you'll be fine. Just give a good reason as to why to want to change (do you have a strong passion for business?, is there a drastic reason as to why you can't do pre-med?). Fordham's business school is strong (#48 in the country according to Newsweek), but it's not particularly difficult to get into. Pre-med is absolutely by far the most difficult major and Fordham knows that-- if they thought you had the capacity to handle pre-med, I'm positive you can handle CBA. If you look at the newsweek rankings, you'll see that Fordham students feel that the CBA curriculum could stand to be more competitive. Fordham is building up CBA (as well as the rest of the school) and within the next decade it has the capacity to be one of the top business schools.

Also, on the Fordham website, it says that business students need to have 4 years of math and pre-med students need to have 4 years of math as well as 1-2 yrs of chem./physics. You certainly have the requirements for CBA.
