Can I defer my admission to an CUNY school for an semester?

<p>Well my mother is not ready to let me go to the city right out of high school. She wants me to go to the community college near home. So I made a deal with her, despite my 100% unwillingness to do so. I said I would go to the college she wants for a semester then go to CUNY BMCC after 1 semester. Am I allowed to do this?</p>

<p>Am I worried I won't be allowed to defer my admission for a semester there? And what about housing I wanted to live in the Towers. Do you think they would let me live there half way through the year? </p>

<p>My mothers ruining everything for me. She's not even paying for college either. Not even cosigning on the loans im getting out.</p>

<p>YOu cannot defer and go to another school. IF you go to another school, then you will have to reapply as a transfer student. If you go to BMCC, where are you going to live BMCC does not have dorms</p>
