Can I get a 2150+ score with 1 month of practice?

I'm aiming for a score of 2150+ but I only have a month to practice seriously. I have taken 3 practice tests recently and I received scores of 1780, 1810 and 1630 in that order. I'm a bit worried because I'm losing points mainly in my essay (for which I got a 2 out of 6 in the last test) and in math .

My question is if I can raise it to 2150 within a month and if I can then what is the plan of action do you guys suggest?

Thanks in advance!

As for it being possible, yes it is possible. As for it being likely, no. There are some tricks and tips available online for quick preparation but in the end, it all comes down to how quickly you can absorb them, for they are methods which can only be absorbed through practice. Most people (like me) are mere mortals and can take from 3-7 months to assimilate these techniques while some others can actually accomplish this task in just two weeks. Judging by your scores, you fall into the category of mere mortal but even us mortals are capable of great things. Just give it your all and see where that takes you!

Well said my n*qqahh

Yes, because I am a example.
In May, my score is 2040,
In Jule, my score is 2180.
Nothing is possible, actually, because of my ailment in Jule, I could do better.

There are so many good advice in CC, you can find them, my advices cannot be better than those.
My only advice is,
Be confident, no matter what others say. Others may say you cannot, but what really matters is your attitude.
And be hardworking, since this moment.

Yes definitely. I got an 1880 as a junior and it crushed me. Worked hard over the summer and brought it up to a 2150. Hoping for a 2180ish superscore after December scores come in. My tip is do lots of practice problems and try to understand why you got it wrong. One month is a short time so work hard and gl!

It is possible. I raised mine 230 points. Here’s how I did it. It may be a bit demanding bit it should give you results.

Don’t let anything or anyone distract you. Spend your Sunday doing sat only. Finish homework and have some fun Saturday. Study for one hour every weeknight.

Make sure you focus on the quality of your studying, review and redo. Take some practice tests and questions

It’s possible

Yes.

1) Learn the grammar rules. You can learn them all in 1 weekend. Buy the Ultimate Guide to SAT Grammar by Erica Meltzer. <— (You don’t need this book, but I know a lot of people who used this book and were successful with it)
2) Learn how to write the essay.
3) Do every practice test in the Blue Book timed.
4) Buy Essential 500 vocab, learn 20-30 words every day. <— (Again, you don’t need this book, but it definitely helps)
5) Learn the Blue Book vocab as well.
6) Read the various guides for the SAT available for free on this site.

Good luck

You need to start taking it seriously, over 80% of test takers can get near 2400 and yet only 1 - 7% do, it doesn’t matter if you take 1 month, 2 months or months, right now you are wasting time asking if something is possible which tells me you’re procrastinating on a regular basis, not necessarily because you like to waste time but probably because you are subconsciously running from the exam.

If you have unscheduled procrastination then you will not have enough time, you can get more done in 15mins of uninterrupted revision then you will get done in a hour of make believe revision. If you want to get in done in 1 month then mean it, don’t drift along looking for hope on student forums hope is exchanged when the deadline arives, whether you exchanged it for fear or confidence is down to you.

1.Go to sparknotes, study its essay, grammar, mathematics cr.
2.Learn essential 300/500 words and spark notes 1000 words.
3.Take a practice test once every 3 days, if you are having trouble looking for practice papers just googe college board past papers.
4.set targets/deadlines and meet them, always think about the time, wasting time makes hindsight painful

Did you score that high as a senior? Can you please describe more about it…That’s the score that I am going for, really need your advice.Thank you.

Thanks all … I have more recent scores of 1750 and 2010.I really hope that the improvement is satisfactory.

@schoolster Do as many tests as possible. Judging your performance with just two tests is not a good idea. I used to judge where I stood by comparing my latest five diagnostics.

Nice schoolster keep working hard.
