Can i get a full ride scholarship as an international student

I will want to know the possibility of getting a full ride scholarship as an international student and which schools offer it.I got an SAT score of 1250(CR+MTH),GPA 3.88

full ride with that sat and gpa, no.
partial scholarships, plenty.

I’d like to know which schools will give this student a PARTIAL scholarship as an international student. My DD is a U.S. citizen who had better stats than that. She didn’t get partial scholarship offers from “plenty of schools”…one, yes…but that school does NOT offer the same award to international students at all.

I can’t think of any full-ride or big scholarships with a 1250 SAT for an int’l student.

Maybe LSU or Miss St might give a partial scholarship.

Thanks madam

Moneyp
please can you tell me of such schools?I will appreciate.

tinjoku, as i had written, there are no schools which will give you a full ride with that scores and gpa. you have to push those sat scores and gpa much higher.

for partial scholarships, try looking at ave maria university, university of dallas, university of alabama.

Mom2 can certainly tell us if 'Bama will give a scholarship to an international student with these stats.

@moneyp-tanx alot,so if am looking at a full ride, what SAT score should i aim at and what gpa?meanwhile my gpa is 3.88 on 4.0 scale and SAT is 1950(cr 600 + mth 650 + ws 700).

You can get up to full tuition at St Johns University,NY.

Unfortunately, his M+CR score would have to be higher to get a big scholarship from Bama.

Right now, his stats would only get him $3500 per year and an additional $1500 per year if he’s an engineering major. So, not enough to cover his need.

He needs to try…Miss St, LSU, and maybe UArk.

tinjoku

You need to read through everything at [EducationUSA | Study Abroad, Student Visa, University Fairs, College Applications and Study in the U.S. / America](http://www.educationusa.info/) and then you need to make an appointment with the counselors at the advising center closest to you. They will be able to tell you which colleges and universities in the US have admitted students like you in recent years, and what kind of scholarships those students received. They are expert at helping students from your country find good places to study in the US.

tinjoku, to answer your question re: gpa and sat…try to aim for a 4.0 gpa and sat of at least 2350. you are international, it is tougher for internationals.

UArk doesn’t give any academic scholarships for 1250.

Thanks all for the information…I will check out these schools…Am so very grateful.
