Can I get a refund for my AP Language exam?

It's in 11 days and I KNOW I'm so not ready. I'm not the best in language arts and my teacher hasn't done much to help us prepare. I already paid for it, but can I not take it and get a refund?

And if I don't take it, will colleges look at it as a bad thing?

From Collegeboard. So it sounds like you can until the day of the exam, and I doubt colleges would ever find out

I heard that if colleges find out that a person didn’t take their AP exam, they are gnna count the AP class as a regular one? Wouldn’t that lower the GPA?

No. It doesn’t look good if you don’t take the exam, but it won’t lower your GPA.

My high school gives you credit for taking an honors course instead of an AP course if you don’t take the exam, but I would imagine that the policy varies by school. I doubt that colleges would recalculate GPA though, seeing as some schools don’t even ask for AP scores on the application

Idk if I should take it or not. I really suck at lang and comp, and it seems impossible to improve significantly in 10 days. It’s a waste of money and time, but should I do it since colleges at least want me to try? I really don’t know what to doo!
