Can I get accepted with a low SAT score but a high GPA?

I’m getting ready to send out my college applications, and there’s one thing that I’m really worried a out- my SAT scores. I’m not what one would call a great standardized test taker, but I’m still a really good student. I want to major in psychology at UCF, but I have a 1530 on the SAT. However, I have a 4.1 GPA, with a ton of honors and AP classes including:

AP Psychology
AP Human Geography
AP Art History
AP European History

Honors Classes in:
Trigonometry
Algebra I
Biology
Chemistry
Anatomy & Physiology

English I-IV
Composition
US Government
World History
US History
Economics
Italian

The majority of my grads are A’s and B’s. And I’m a part of many clubs, including Yearbook, Newspaper, GSA, and I’m the editor if the Oracle Literary Magazine at our school. Do I still have a chance of getting into UCF?

Yeah I’d say you have a very good chance. If you’re nervous though, study up and retake in October.

You may get accepted, but if you’re after a Pegasus Scholarship, you need to retake the SAT and get a higher score.
