Can I get at least a half-tuition scholarship with a 1700 SAT(International student)

This May I got 1700 from the SAT. Can I get at least a half-tuition scholarship or financial aid?
But I'm an INTERNATIONAL STUDENT!
700 - Math
500 - Reading
500 - Writing

No way. Bump those scores up. Way up.

But my GPA is 3.9 out of 4.0

Ah, say that.

It also depends on how much your family can afford, and what schools you're setting your sights on.

Sorry, you definitely need to retake the SAT if you need a scholarship.

Actually I don't have a list like universities that I want but I want Florida,California or New England area(MA,Penn,DC,New York)

Remember that public universities do not give out scholarships to International students so I advice you to look into private universities.

Can you give specific names?

I can afford 10,000$

go thru and read this. realize that there may have been changes since this thread started 2+ years ago.

eduPASS: The SmartStudent Guide to Studying in the USA this is a new site by the makers of finaid.org I would consider this a good starting point to

do realize that $10000 isn't going to be enough unless you are one of the very lucky international students that private universities will fund. Many private schools are in excess of 50000

Schools Awarding International Financial Aid
there are very few schools that are going to be need blind to internationals. And these are among the most select schools for anyone to get into. You can look at specific states at that link

I agree with others that say you have low scores and that may get you admitted to a college but isn't going to bring a free ride or major financial aid
