<p>Hello! Basically put, I’m reasonably confident (7 points above my state’s cutoff for last year) that I will be selected as a National Merit Semifinalist and, hopefully, a Finalist. I’m also probably going to receive the National Hispanic Scholar award from the National Hispanic Recognition Program (NHRP), since their qualifying cutoff was lower than my state’s cutoff last year for semifinalists.</p>
<p>My question is this-- if I am both a National Merit Finalist and National Hispanic Scholar, can I receive both the National Scholar Award AND the NHRP Award from BU, or just one of them? Because if I can receive both, I’ll have full tuition paid, whereas with just one I would only have half-tuition paid, and that’s a world of a difference. I’d appreciate it if anyone could help me out. :)</p>
