<p>The Scholar's Workstation will link you to Dell and provide the member ID that will get you discounts. I'm not going to post the ID number here for obvious reasons.</p>

<p>TSW's discounts are nothing more than the generic educational discount Dell and Apple give about $300 for a system. You can also get a student discount through your high school. It's the same one and it doesn't save you much.</p>
<p>Also, going through Dell education gets you ripped off. They give you a few discounts but the upgrades are more expensive than Dell Home and in the end, you end up paying for more just to receive the same product with maybe a little extra warranty but Dell's technical support is worthless so it's not worth the money to buy it. Hell, I'll fix your computer for a 'thanks' as long as you pay for any necessary parts.</p>
<p>EPP gives you a percentage discount. I've seen these go from 12% to 35%. Not to mention they are STACKABLE with other coupons. That's how people manage somewhere around a 51-52% discount off Dell computers.</p>
<p>Yea, I can't find EPP discount numbers and I've tried a bunch of forums. I already was on notebookforums.com before you mentioned and also notebookreview.com, but none have them right now. But they're having a deal on the 27th and 28th, when you can get the 12% student discount and $750 on top of that, so that sounds pretty good. I'll probably order then, since I'll get about the same as EPP.</p>

<p>Sign up for EPP mailings and you'll get the discounts in your mailbox. If you're lucky, you'll get a 35% EPP.</p>
<p>It's almost the end of the quarter so Dell will do some deals.</p>
<p>My suggestion, hope for a 35% off Dell Home. They are rare and within hours. They come out early in the morning PST.</p>
