Hello my name is Angela and I attended college right after graduating from high school. My 3rd year I had my son and life got pretty real. Instead of doing a late withdrawl I just quit going to my classes like an idiot. I am older and more mature now and would love nothing more than to return to school and finish my degree. Not only for myself but to set a good example for my children. I am worried since I owe financial aid i cannot get help to go back to school. Being a single mother i cannot afford to pay it back right now. Is there anything I can do?

You already received education that you haven’t paid for completely. Before a school will allow you to continue, they are going to expect you to settle up. Keep working, pay off your debt, and then go back to school. If you had a car and didn’t pay for it, it would be reposessed. Colleges can’t repo the education in your brain, so they have to insist on getting paid for it. Good luck.
