Can I get in to University of Richmond?

I have a 4.3/4.5 weighted GPA, I’m in the top 10% of my class, I received all A’s freshman and sophomore year. however I did receive 2 B’s first semester and 3 second semester last year, junior year. I might receive a B or high C in AP calculus (my first C ever) first quarter of this year. I’m looking to apply early decision to University of Richmond because it is my top choice and I really don’t want to go anywhere else. My SAT’s aren’t great- I have a 650 in critical reading, a 650 in writing, and a 580 in math- but I’m taking it again in hopes of raising my math into the 600’s and my critical reading possibly into the 700s. I am in multiple clubs (national honor society, school ambassadors, etc.) and I’ve been playing varsity soccer for three years, as I played JV freshman year. I also have been playing club soccer since I was 9. I attend a summer camp every summer (for the past 7 years) that is very very very important to me, and I was a junior counselor summer of 2014. I’m taking AP calculus, AP physics 2, AP gov, AP literature, AP European history, and AP french. I’m also doing an internship this year in the psych ward at the hospital, but it hasn’t started yet. I’ve been working myself to the bone trying to do everything I can to make myself better, so if anyone has any tips or anything on how to help me get in, I’d be very appreciative!

move this to the chance page

I’d say you have a decent chance IF you get those SAT scores up. However, you’ll want to aim higher on the scores than you currently are to improve your chances even more.

ED should definitely help your chances and everything else is in range.
