So I really screwed up here
I just finished my junior year. My cumulative GPA is a 2.21....
I don't remember exactly what my freshman Gpa was, but my sophomore GPA was a 2.6, and my junior year gpa was a 2.1...
My sat score however was a 1970..

I am a minority (India , my parents were born in India, I was born here) I volunteered at a hospital for about 150 hours. I have no other ecs, my essays arent exactly anything To write home about..
I'm realty nervous. Where can I go? My top choices were
University of Arizona
University of Washington
Umass Amherst
Indiana university at Bloomington
Baylor university
Texas a&m
Penn state main campus
Syracuse

Please help, and any college suggestions would be great!

Your race wouldn’t help you since you are still considered Asian.

You are in a similar situation as me, but i was doing much worse in school.

I suggest you to take sat2 and do well in them, and apply to a school that focuses more on standardized tests than other factors which you are lacking.

@sfsy12 thanks, I’ll make sure to take those. Do.you know if it will boost my chances t these schools? Also where did u end up applying/ getting in? I’m super nervous and open to anything but CC.

I am also applying this year, but I’ve graduated from high school almost 2 years ago.

I think SAT2 is enough to demonstrate your specific academic strengths, so yes doing well in them will boost your chances significant especially when your GPA is bad.

If you think your GPA is a bad representation of your actually abilities, you can always go to CC, do well and transfer to a much better school.
