Can i get in with my grades?

<p>GPA Freshman,Sophomore,Junior:
3.3 Unweighted -> 3.58 Weighted</p>

<p>if i did really bad in my freshman year (78.9), </p>

<p>decent on my sophomore year (83.1) </p>

<p>and blast my junior year with a 96.5, will they accept me since im doing good now?</p>

<p>my overall is 86.4</p>

<p>oh and now on my junior year, i am currently taking 3 IB classes and 2 honors classes. </p>

<p>sophomore year, i took one global honors class.</p>

<p>on my senior year, i am taking 5 IB classes.</p>

<p>and what if i got all 80’s-90’s on my NYS regents?</p>

<p>and if i get a 1950-2010 on my SAT’s</p>

<p>and recieved 650-710’s on all of my SAT II’s
i took these sat 2 tests:
Global History
math level 1
biology </p>

<p>and taking:
Physics
American History
English</p>

<p>i also am going to Boston University’s High School honors program and taking Biology 1 and Introduction to Political Theory and getting college credit for them.</p>

<p>Following Clubs:
Environmental Club
Young Democrats
Great Books club</p>

<p>i play the Clarinet and violin for my schools orchestra.</p>

<p>Sports: Varsity Basketball “B”, varsity Handball, Varsity Bowling, Varsity Tennis</p>

<p>Running for Class President and def. going to win.</p>

<p>I think that you have a definite shot. Lower side GPA, but good upward trend. IB classes are good and that BU Honors thing is really good.</p>

<p>Definitely into CGS, probably into CAS or whatever other college you're applying for. I've heard admissions officers say that the standard CGS admitted student is someone who turns on their academic achievement junior year...they like to see that dedication and upwards grade trend. With those scores and weighted GPA though...seriously good chance in the college of your choice (maybe not SMG...they tend to have slightly higher stats).</p>
