I'm a serious stress-case but i can't help it. I'm a sophomore right now and i'm freaking out.

for some reason i didn't get into english honors because the whole english department is on crack-cocaine and couldn't pick out a student who knows how to write an essay from a group of people who don't know whether to use their or there.

umm, my classes are taught by horrible teachers and my current psychology teacher is a total nut. I'm worried i might get a C or B in that class because he grades only on his liking of you... that would REALLY ruin me... I feel so hopeless

9th
-Geometry A/A
-Spanish 2 A/A
-English 1-2 CP B (Ahhhhh!!!!)/A
-Health/Geography (waste of time) A/A
-PE/Tennis A/A
-Biology A/A

I think i've already seriously dimmed my chances of getting into an Ivy League...

but here's the rest of my high school plan:

2008 summer:
-precalc or program at EPGY

11th
-AP Calc BC or Precalc (if i decide against it for the summer)
-AP Chemistry
-English Honors (i WILL get in)
-Spanish 4
-Some semester class/Tennis
-APUSH

12th
-AP Calc BC (if i took Precalc 11th) or AP Stats or Multivariable (@ El Camino)
-AP English
-AP Spanish
-AP Physics
-AP Gov/Econ
-semester class/Tennis

PLEASE GIVE ME ADVICE OR HELP on what i can do to help the likelihood of getting into a top engineering/business school!!!

GPA, test scores, class rank, class size, ethnicity, competitiveness of high school, high/low income, first generation, extracurricular activities?

Dude, what the f|_|ck??? Your in 10th grade, and not only that, you just started 10th grade. Your not even 1/3 dont with high school. Chill out, you have like 3 years to go almost. You should be worried about enjoying 9-10 grade, and working your ass of in 11th-12th...Your fine, but I think its a bit ludicrous to outline your life like that. I did that when I was in 9th grade, and I laugh at my dumass self then for doing that. Chill, work hard, and college admissions will follow you.

Rutgers: yeah i know i should be relaxing but i can't help it, like at all

and my GPA for 9th grade was a 3.83 because i had an 89.5 which my lame teacher didn't round up. my class size is about 600, and again, because of that B i think i'm like in the top 30% for now (which will change). i'm 100% Korean.... and i attend Mira Costa High School (i'm not quite sure where to find out the competitiveness but i know that about 30 people are going to USC, about 10-15 to UCLA, one or two are going to Stanford, and a couple of my friends got into Princeton, MIT, Harvard, Columbia, Brown, etc...). My parents are divorced, my father lives in Korea. he is in the 'elite 1 percent' in korea but here we (my mom and my senior sister who's very academically strong) are, i guess an upper-middle class family? i have no idea.

My dad went to Carnegie Mellon and is head of the CMU Alumni in Korea and my mom went to a top womens' university in Seoul (not that colleges would know that). as for extra curricular, i think i have about... 100 hours for the Youth Advisory Committee (an anti-drug group), i'm about to become the treasurer for the Eco club and i'm pretty much ensured as the club president next year, a friend and i are starting either a model-building or commerce club, i used to play piano and i'm about to start up again... i'll update this as the list accumulates and as i remember

Well right now, no one is gonna chance you 3 years in advance for any college. Haha. So posting on this board is sorta useless until your 12th grade fall and when you have SAT scores, and actual grades in your planned out classes. Not I predict a A here, and a A- their.
