How is my chance of being accepted to this university? And do I stand a chance of getting financial aid? My parents can afford only $25000 per year

My son is a Freshman at Wake. Your stats are in line with his.

I think with your stats, you have a good chance. I think grades/scores are in line with what they look for and I think the volunteer work you do is important to them.

I also would recommend that when you interview, be yourself and speak from the heart. The same with your essays. My son did and I believe that was one of the deciding factors. He was accepted over other students at his high school school and I thought they had more impressive “stats” than he but he decided that if they didn’t like what they heard in the interview and read in his essays, then it would not be the right school for him.

Good luck!!!

Im currently a freshman and student at wake. I think you have a good change at gaining acceptance! Good Luck, You will love it here!

Thanks. And what about the financial aid at Wake? Can someone please tell me?
