Hello My name is Fred. I am creating this discussion to ask if I can get into a good college. I am a junior in hs and i have a 2.7 gpa. The reason i have this gpa is because i couldn't adapt to hs my freshman year. I started doing better sophomore year and so far in my junior years i have gotten straight B's and i made the honor roll my first marking period. So if i keep it up and get somewhere within a 82-83 average my senior year can I get into a good university. Please respond ASAP. Thanks in advance

Define “good university”. US News & World Report ranking, Forbes ranking … anything!

what are your test scores and what do you consider a “good” college?

If you do a search there are a couple of threads here specifically about “B students” and the schools they have/can can accepted to. I’m convinced there’s a college out there for just about anyone who wants to go to college, but like others have said it does depend on how you define “good”.

alright I just finished my junior year i have a 80 average overall, and i got a 1600 on my SAT but I am going to take it again so yes or No. good colleges are like state universities like suny albany .

Check here for Albany. http://www.albany.edu/ir/cds/cds_2013_14/freshman.htm Section C7 shows what they look at, Sections C9-11 shows stats. Google Common Data Set [College Name] for other schools you want to check.
