Can I get Into AEM

Hey guys,

I am a URM and I hoping to transfer to AEM, do you think i stand a chance considering they have a 15% admit rate and I have only completed one semester of Bio.

Familial ties:None
Ethnicity: URM
HOOK: Dad is an Ambassador
Anti Hook- income 200k+

After a recent topic I posted here, I would say that an anti-hook is your dad being paid well for his job. Nor, would I either say that your dad being an Ambassador will help you get into another college.

Your stats are very impressive however, but it is much harder for transfers to get into Cornell, or any other college.

Thanks...anyone else??

Good Chance

They were pretty adamant about having that 2yr bio req filled when I was starting the transfer process. Other than that and essays I'd say you have an excellent chance.

I would say you're in, you probably have the best stats I've seen of anyone on these boards for AEM transfer.

btw, the 3.85 at UChi is amazing. Is the grade deflation stereotype overblown or did you just work your ass off?

Thanks guys,

stone, I have heard that as well (UofC is challenging) But, I really cant give you an honest answer b/c its the only college i have studied at...so i i have nothing else to compare it to. I think it is, somewhat. I have had teachers who literally work against the students.
