Thanks for any help!

Does your high school use Naviance? We are in AZ and when I looked at Barrett on Naviance at my D’s school, the average admitted student UW GPA is 3.76 and the average admitted SAT is 1362/1600 or 2010/2400. So it seems possible but it would really help if you could bring up your standardized test scores, especially the CR+M. Don’t know anything about U of Washington.

Yes we use Naviance, but only for sending transcripts and requesting letters of recommendation. I plan to retake the SAT and take the ACT in December, but I wonder if taking it then will even affect my chances? Is it too late? I’ve heard of sending the new scores as supplements if they raise, but if they already have evaluated my application by then wouldn’t it seem useless? Thank you again!

Sounds like you should talk to your GC and/or email Barrett admissions. The Priority Action deadline is Nov. 15 with notification by January 9. Priority action is non binding but I think it’s supposed to increase your odds of scholarship awards to meet that deadline. But I don’t know if they defer some students to the RD round. That sounds like a question worth asking.

The website says the following about GPA and test scores:
There is no minimum GPA or test score requirement for admission. The Barrett application is quite comprehensive, allowing many different facets of each individual to be considered. The typical transfer or continuing ASU student admitted to Barrett has a cumulative college GPA of at least 3.6. For high school seniors, the average unweighted high school GPA for the fall 2013 incoming class is 3.8, the average SAT score (critical reading and mathematics sections only) is 1300, and the average composite ACT is 29. Please note that the Admissions Committee always considers GPAs in the context of the program of study in which they were earned. Applicants should take great care to articulate their educational background on the application. The numbers provided above are averages. A GPA or test score at or above the average is not a guarantee of admission, nor does a GPA or test score below the average necessarily preclude a student from receiving an admission offer. - See more at: <a href=“FAQs | Barrett, The Honors College | ASU”>FAQs | Barrett, The Honors College | ASU;

UPDATE: I got in to Barrett with a 3.43/4.15 final GPA and 1200 CR+M SAT as of the end of my first senior semester.
