Hi, you can use the 2015 SUS Admissions Tour Matrix to compare admissions requirements for all 12 Florida public universities, including FAU and FIU. It includes the mid range for accepted students GPA and SAT/ACT scores for each school. These schools would be a “match” if your stats are in the middle 50% range.

First, you’ll need to convert your UW GPA to a Florida weighted GPA. It’s based on a 4 point scale (A=4, B=3, C=2, D=1), then they give an extra 1.0 points to AP, IB, AICE and Duel Enrollment classes. They give an extra 0.5 points to honor classes.
So a B in AP Stats is worth 4.0 points (3.0 +1.0), while a C in honors algebra 2 is worth 2.5 points.
Next, you’ll notice that Freshman students can be accepted to the Fall or Summer B term. It’s a bit easier to get accepted to the Summer B term (hence the lower GPA and test scores for those students).
Lets use FAU as an example:
% of applicants accepted in the Summer: 53%
% of applicants accepted in the Fall: 48%
Mid Range Accepted GPA-Summer: 3.18 to 3.92
Mid Range Accepted GPA-Fall: 3.52-4.25
(Remember this is the weighted GPA)
The SAT scores are based on the old format, you can use the new concordance tables to convert your new SAT score to the old SAT score, so you can compare the two.

A new SAT 1010 converts to a 1370 in the old format (2400) or 930 on the old 1600 (M+R) scale. This is just a bit low for both schools. Since both schools will “super score” the SAT, I would recommend taking it one more time.
Neither school requires the new SAT Essay.
