I’m a junior in highschool and I’m really interested in Fordham. My brother is freshman in college at Seton Hall university on a pretty substancial scholarship. He also got into Fordham but decided to go elsewhere obviously. I have a combined score on the SATS of a 1750 out of 2400
My gpa is a 3.3 because I kinda slacked off the first two years of highschool and I really suck at math which brings my gpa down a lot but I really started to apply myself. I plan to study political science hopefully. I’m in 2 AP’s this year as well as one last year and probably 2 or 3 my senior year.
I have a lot of extracurriculars like an internship at a human rights attorney’s law office for human trafficking, I’m an attorney on my school’s mock trial team, a member of my school’s Harvard model team, i created and am the president of a habitat for humanity club at my school, I was chosen out of 500 students to be in a pool of 50 to build a house with habitat for humanity on scholarship, and I do a lot more volunteering for my community like the YMCA’s leader’s club which I’m the Vice President of. I’m hoping these are enough to show I am a well rounded student and passionate about my community and helping others. I’m just wondering if I fit the criteria for being accepted into Fordham.
