Can I get into Lehigh?

Hey I was wondering if I could get into lehigh with this:

GPA: 3.5
SAT 1140 out of 1600 (570 Math 570 Reading)
Activities: Varisty Track and Field Athelte, Accepted into the VESTED Stem Academy, Cricket Club, Chess Club, Chemistry Club, Jazz Band,
Academic Awards: Honor Roll, Achievement at VESTED Academy, Spotlight Student
Athletic Awards: National Qualifer (Indoor and Outdoor Track), State Placer and Qualifer (Indoor and Outdoor Track) Sectional Chamipion in Outdoor Track, Sectional Placer (Indoor and Outdoor Track), Meet of Champions qualifer in outdoor Track, Eastern State Championships Qualifer (Indoor Track), Second Team All Star in Tri County Conference, Third Year Varsity Letter, Woodbury Relays Placer,
Other: Hopework n Camden (Non- profit Organization) Developed Websites and Programming Skills

I would say a high reach with your grades and test scores. Are you being recruited for track? That would help a bunch!

I agree with the above poster. Things you can do to increase your changes: retake the SAT or try the ACT and increase your score; apply early decision if it’s your top choice and you can afford it; visit and interview as Lehigh tracks demonstrated interest. Good luck.

Yes I am being recruited for track, how high would my SAT need to be? I thought the average was about 1190

Here are the Fall 2017 SAT numbers (25% - 75% range) for enrolled Lehigh freshmen, from the latest Common Data Set:

SAT Reading: 620 - 700
SAT Math: 650 - 730

But Lehigh would likely go lower than that for a recruited athlete. The track coach can probably tell you if your scores are competitive.

What if I say I want to continue my family’s legacy there? Cause I really do?

If you have family members that attended Lehigh, then that could also improve your chances.

Again, if you are being recruited for track, then the coach can probably give you a more informed assessment of your chances than random people on the internet.
