Can I get into MIT or Harvard or Caltech or Stanford with full financial aid?????

Can I get into Harvard or MIT or Caltech or Stanford with full financial aid?????
Please, please answer this question. And here are my stats:

Origin:Bangladesh

About me: I am an international student and currently live in Dhaka, Bangladesh. My parents, brothers, sister and me are born and raised in Bangladesh and I desperately want to study in a very reputed university in USA (like amongst top ten in the world or USA). But we are only a moderately well-off family in Bangladeshi currency but if we convert our money to US dollars we will be rated as poor. (My Dad earns just above 1lakh taka per month which is only about 1428 US dollars per month). I studied in Manarat College in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

About my application: I want to apply for Bio-medical Engineering in year 2013.

My Academic Records:
O-Levels: Took 9 subjects in one sitting under Edexcel
Result:Got 8As in Biology, Human Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Maths , Pure Maths, Bangla and Economics but 1 B in ENGLISH.
A-Levels: Took 5 subjects under Edexcel.
Result: Physics- A(A-star)
Chemistry-A(A-star)
Biology-A(A-star)
Maths-A(A-star)
Pure Maths-A*(A-star)
Note:In Edexcel GCE O-LEVELS there is no A-star grade system so I did not get any.
SAT 1 score- 2300
SAT 2 score-Maths(Level 2)-800
Physics-790
Chemistry-790
TOEFL score- Got 600 in paper based TOEFL

Extra curricular activities and work:

Football (Soccer) (Mosty play underground Football Championships)
Swimming(Just as an exercise and hobby but not for competition)
Debate ( Previously affiliated with MAD but now with DebateBangladesh. I debated in both regional debate championship and National Championship)
Social Work(Working for a social group called YWSS for at least 4 to 5 years. It is the largest social organization working for English Medium students in the country)
I write for a Monthly magazine(It is the largest circulated youth-monthly-English Magazine in the Country and the name is Youth Wave)
I was a Prefect of the school
Worked as a reporter for YWSS.
Worked as an organizer too(Organized football competition, Quiz competition etc.)
Participated in World Cyber Games National Championship.

Extra:
I have a transcript from my school ( Manarat) which includes grade sheets from Class 9 to Class 12.
My essay (the one I prepared to use during application) is pretty good one too.
I can get recommendation from my school's principle if needed.

So may i good enough??? Please answer.

Applying to any U.S. university as an international student in need of full financial aid is a complete crapshoot.

Well you look like a stellar canidate for MIT, Harvard,CalTech, Stanford, but its hard to predicit your chances of actually getting in. As an international student getting full financial aid will be REALLY difficult. You say you want to be an biomedical engineer, here are other schools that have AMAZING biomedical engineering programs:[Best Biomedical and Bioengineering Programs | Top Engineering Schools | US News Best Graduate Schools](http://grad-schools.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-graduate-schools/top-engineering-schools/biomedical-rankings)

I know alot of international students have high hopes of getting into America’s top schools, but those are really selective, and schools like University of Washington or Georgia Tech have amazing programs and are also affordable. GOOD LUCK! :)

No such program is “affordable” to a student whose family makes under $1,500 USD per month. Either he gets full financial aid, or he’s not coming here.

MIT and Harvard are need-blind for internationals, meaning they don’t care how much financial aid you need when they consider whether or not to admit you. Stanford and Caltech are not need blind, so they do discriminate against high-need internationals - you should also consider applying to Amherst, Yale, Princeton and Dartmouth, all of which admit internationals without regard to need.

All of the colleges mentioned meet full demonstrated need, meaning that if you are admitted, you will be able to attend - the school fin. aid office will make sure of it. Given your listed income, all these schools should be 100% free, including plane tickets, books etc. in addition to tuition.

I think that you have great stats! The schools you mentioned meet full financial need. So, the problem is just getting in. As long as you write a stellar essay, you will be competitive.

Apply to the need blind top schools you mentioned! Your stats are amazing and I think that you have a really good chance. Try to get good rec letters from your teachers and perfect your essays!

Also, have you considered Oxford? You have the grades for it and there’s the Oxford Reach scholarship which you might have a shot at winning. Just throwing the idea out there. You don’t want to be like me and regret not applying to your dream schools. It never hurts to try! (except you might be wasting application fees!)

if you want any aid,you should apply to uni that is lower than those.

going to be hard to get.
