Extracurriculars!! I don't have many.......
1. I have been a member of my color guard team since my sophomore year and next year I will be a leader.
2. I have been a member of National Honors Society since I was a sophomore---you are only allowed to join starting your sophomore year.
3. I have been a member of FBLA since my freshman year ---> a total of 3 awards won so far
4. I volunteered for my city at a daycare & preschool for two years
^^^^^yeah pretty pathetic but I'm hoping that my grades & SAT scores will override the fact that I have no extracurriculars.

If I apply to NYU, I will applying to the Polytechnic Institute........ oh yeah also I am a second-generation female Asian-American. Please help!!!! Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I forgot to add my AP scores!!! Human geo: 4; calc: 4; chem: 3

also additional information: i’m from southern california, the high school i go to is 50% asian and 50% hispanic and i am at the top 9% of my class.

SoCal applying to Polytech majoring in EE? I don’t see why you wouldn’t get accepted with these scores. Yes, your EC does need improvement but remember not many female applies to Polytech from SoCal. they would want a diverse student body.

oooh yay thanks! i’m actually planning on majoring in biomedical engineering though

Probably. I did with similar stats. The real question: can you pay for NYU?
