Its currently the beginning of semester 2, I am taking foundations of mathematics 12, psychology, and social justice 12. I have not received grades for these classes yet but from semester 1 these are my grades:
English 12- 84%
Law 12- 83%
Foods and Nutrition 12- 93%
Superfit 12- 75%
i’m guessing I can’t get into UBC lol but would I be able to get into SFU? Also, what grades should I aim for in my current classes to help with admission? thank you!
The GPA cutoff at UBC is pretty high now, so I’d say you need to aim for 90%+, at least in the courses that will co7nt for the faculty you’re applying for. The good news/sneaky secret is that it’s very feasible to switch majors at UBC, as long as you do very well in the prereqs in your first 2 years before you formally declare your major. You can for instance switch from kinesiology or land & food systems into science. And from high school, the entry requirements/grade cutoffs are different for each faculty, so pick the one that will most likely get you admitted if you’re confident you can work hard and succeed in your first year ar university.
