Hey, I wanted to see what my chances of getting in Stanford were with this information:
-Syrian born and muslim (idk if that matters)

  • I speak Arabic, French, English, learning Spanish
  • Attended engineering camp at Cal Poly over summer
  • Had a job for past year and a half
  • Volunteer at a hospital with 200+ hours
  • International volunteer in Greece to help syrian refugees (especially helpful because I speak arabic)
  • a 4.6 weighted gpa
  • on path to becoming valedictorian
  • 1520 SAT
  • I got a 2 on AP euro exam, but 4-5s on everything else (13 APs total)
  • i took Algebra 2, Calculus, and Astronomy over different summers at local community college.
    -I have helped my dad remodel our whole house completely (floors, kitchen, bathrooms, painting walls, etc. Idk if that matters)
    -i do cross country (i am not varsity)
    -I go to the gym 2 days a week
  • All A’s and I took the hardest classes ny school could offer

Language skills and your involvement in helping your dad remodel house and your refugee volunteering stand out to me. You absolutely have a good chance if you write great essays.
