These are among the most elite schools in the U.S. In the world, even! They have single-digit acceptance rates. And almost everyone who applies has stellar scores and accomplishments. So although you’re an outstanding student the odds of getting into any of these schools are against you. They’re against just about everyone.
A match school is one that is likely to accept you because your accomplishments are similar to those of the vast majority of the applying students. A safety school is one where your accomplishments and scores put you among the best students in the freshman class, virtually guaranteeing you an acceptance. For someone like you, that would likely be your state flagship university, for a start.
You can find our more about match and safety schools by searching this forum.
You clearly haven’t done enough research on schools. Match and safety schools are ones where you have a higher chance of getting in. All of the schools you listed are crapshoots.
All these schools are 5-8% acceptance rate schools. It doesn’t matter how many of them you apply to, you have about 5-8% overall being accepted by one or more by them. Your match probably will be US News ranking 30-50 schools and safeties 50-100 schools. But most importantly, you should look for schools that fit your personality, location, major, size, learning style preference. It seems you haven’t done any job on those things. just pick schools from the top as everyone else is a fallacy you can commit in one of the most important decisions that affect your life. Sad, so sad.
You have awesome stats but all of these colleges are VERY hard to get into no matter how high you score. No one from my school has ever gotten into Princeton or Stanford and we are ranked the 2nd best high school in a very competitive state and consistently sent many kids to schools like Cornell per year. Write a good essay so admissions officers see you as more than just a test score and a laundry list of activities, but as a person. Good luck!!!
It’s obvious you have done very little research on college application yourself. I suggest you start it now before asking the questions nobody can really answer.
