Can i get into Uconn? Please help!

<p>Hey guys, I was wondering if I could get into Uconn (main campus in Storrs). I did horrible in freshmen and half of sophomore year, here are my grades:</p>

<p>Freshmen Year:</p>

<p>1st semester- 2.7 gpa
2sd semester- 2.5 gpa</p>

<p>Sophmore year:</p>

<p>1st semester- 2.3 gpa
2sd semster- 4.0 gpa</p>

<p>Junior year:
1st semester- 4.0
2sd semester- 4.0</p>

<p>And i will get a 4.0 GPA senior year</p>

<p>I took only 3 honors and 1 AP classes. </p>

<p>Do I have a chance to get into Uconn?!?</p>

<p>What made you perform so poorly freshman and sophomore year? At least you put your act together…</p>

<p>Well I’m sorry for your loss :frowning: but I think that if you explain what happened and how it affected you in the “Additional Information” section of the commonapp, then you have a far chance at UConn. I can’t say for sure, since UConn’s acceptance rate is at 47%, but you have a good shot. Don’t forget to apply to some safeties, like ECSU or WCSU</p>

<p>Since that is the case I don’t think that they will bother to look at freshman and sophomore grades for you. That’s obviously a lot to deal with and they’ll be sympathetic to that. If you keep on the path you are on now I think that you have a very good shot at getting in. Goo luck!</p>
