Can I get into UGA with great GPA but bad test score?

Hello,

I have great GPA, but I do not have great test scores compared to my GPA because of hardships that I could not focus on the test. Do you know if anyone get in with low test score but great GPA?

Also, if I get C in my first semester of senior year, how would this affect my chance? Would it ruin my chance?

Nothing is impossible. These admissions are holistic, and there is certain criteria for acceptance you have to meet. Perhaps you should write about your hardships on your application as a way of expressing your difficulties and creativity.

Plenty of students get in lower than average test scores, but higher than average GPAs. I personally got in last year with a lower than average GPA, but higher than average test scores.

A C during your first semester of senior year will be counted for your UGA GPA. Your second semester is what will matter less, though that does not imply you can suddenly skip classes and barely graduate. Your first semester is sent to UGA for regular decision admissions, so it will hurt you in the sense that your GPA will be dropped down.
