I am a Georgia highschool senior and UGA is my big hope for college. I have a 3.4 academic GPA and a 3.6 overall GPA. I scored 1280 on the SAT and then 530 on the writing (retaking this). and have not taken the ACT yet but will in october. I run varsity cross country, just one year. and have been in Beta club (2 years), Junior Classical League (2 years), FCA ( 1 year) and DECA (1 year). I have been on my churchs youth leadership council for four years. I also attended Georgia Boys State ( a week long leadership conference over the summer, I was told it was highly respected). I particpated in ROTC freshman year and won many competitions with the drill team. I also won multiple awards on the state level with latin and placed twice on the National Latin Exam (one of these placings being as high as you could go). I have taken 3 years of latin, 6 AP classes and a 2 academic electives. I got a 3 on the AP US history test and will get the credit for that, and I take the Calculus, Biology, Economics, and Literature AP tests this year. So guys, what are my chances looking like to get into college?

bump…

I would say you have a pretty good chance of getting into UGA, they have an early action (non-biding) option if you would like to apply earlier.

you’ll get in. i wouldn’t worry about it. apply early action.
