Can I get into University of Pennsylvania?

I am applying early decision to Upenn for the Wharton School of Business and want to know what you think of my chances of acceptance.

GPA unweighted: 3.92
GPA weighted: 4.04
SAT score: 1540/2400
Math: 550 Writing: 500 Reading:490
SAT II's US history:740, Math II:590
Class rank: 6/102
I am retaking the SAT's soon and hopefully will do better.
I've taken or am currently taking all of the AP that my school offers. So far I've taken 3 ap classes and I'm enrolled in 5 others this year. I only got a 5 on one of them(US History). I will probably not submit the others because Penn won't be impressed. I also took a math class in college algebra sophomore year at University of Maine and got an A-. This summer I studied at Harvard University through the Secondary School Program and received credit for Microeconomics and Comparative Politics.
Comparative Politics: B
Microeconomics: C+

No offense but I highly doubt you’re going to get your SAT up by like 700 points… that and you don’t have time to retake your SAT 2’s which are also extremely low

Going by your stats it’s a long reach. Your finance adventures do sound interesting though. I would advise including Stanford in your “reach” list. My perspective is that Stanford appreciates out-of-the-box applicants more so than any other top-tier school.

Stanford does not offer an undergraduate business degree. In general undergraduate business degrees are not very compelling with Wharton, perhaps, being an exception. You could consider majoring in finance or international relations. Stanford is also very accommodating with “creating” your own major so you could cobble together something that appeals to your interests.

I highly doubt you’ll get into an ivy with those scores… and how the hell do you have a 3.9 if you got a C in Microecon. and a B in Comparitive Politics?
