Hey, I am an international student and I was wondering what my chances are at USF.
Stats:
-GPA- 4.0
-SAT- 700 in Maths, 590 in Critical Reading and 610 in Writing so 1900 in total.
-Played high school soccer for 4 years.
-Completed Duke of Edinburgh's Award Program (Gold Level)
-Taken part and won prizes in many Poetry, Art and Science Fair competitions at school.
-One of the founding members of our Physics Club.

My major of choice is Computer Science and I am thinking about applying for fall 2014.
I am currently doing my A-levels(A2) in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry. I got 4 A s at AS last year with a 300/300 in Maths. I have 9 A s at O-levels.

I was also wondering if I am eligible for a significant amount scholarship or financial aid(grant) as I cannot possibly afford the cost of education.

With your GPA and test scores, you are probably eligible for some scholarships. See this link [Freshman Non-Florida Scholarships](http://usfweb2.usf.edu/Admissions/scholarships/freshman-non-florida-scholarships.html)

I don’t know much about international student admissions, but if you apply early, then I think you should get in.

If you can get your critical reading SAT score up to 600 then you should be eligible for the $39,600 scholarship.

^ Thanks. I already qualify for the $ 26 400 one which is great but still not enough for me.
As I said, I am applying for fall 2014 so my deadline is 2 January. If I retake my SAT after applying and get 600 in CR, will I be eligible for the $ 39 600 scholarship?
Even then I will need some form of aid. Does USF normally give out grants to international students? I am willing to work as well to afford my education.

Also, am I late? I mean I just have about a month before the deadline. I never really had plans to go abroad because of the whole financial thing but since my grades are good, I decided why not give it a shot. So due to my last minute decision and poor planning, I am struggling with the deadlines. I already missed Austin’s one -_-

I don’t know where you’re from, but if you’re an international student in Latin America or the Caribbean and you receive a scholarship, you’ll be able to pay instate tuition instead of out of state which will take away around 10k off each year. You’ll definitely get in and receive money for sure.
