<p>If I go over to Berkeley and have appropriate people sign my petition for change of college...is there anyway I could get out of the College of Letters and Science and go to College of Chemistry before CalSO, so that I could get more appropriate advising? Or do I have to stay in L&S for a semester?</p>

<p>whoa there...patience, my friend. sorry to burst your bubble, but i've never heard of anyone being able to do this. i remember reading somewhere on these forums that someone was able to do it by calling in and actually talking to the people who would be in charge / would be able to authorize a change like that. if you're planning to switch over to CoC anyways, there is nothing stopping you from going over to the CoC to ask for advising, even if you're not <em>yet</em> a major in the CoC. as for now, your best bet is just to give the berkeley peoples a call to see what can be done.</p>
